Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Overview
Technium Foundry LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Overquoted mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google or create an account with email and password, we receive your email address and (for Google) your name and Google account ID. This is used to authenticate your account and manage your subscription.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never see or store your full credit card number, CVV, or billing address.
Documents You Upload
When you submit a document for analysis, the image is:
- Stripped of all metadata (EXIF, GPS, device info)
- Re-encoded to remove hidden data layers
- Processed in server memory only
- Never written to disk on our servers
- Never stored after analysis is complete
We do not retain copies of your documents. The structured text analysis (verdict, line items, findings) is stored only on your device in local storage.
Error Logs
When the App encounters errors, anonymous diagnostic logs (error type, screen name, timestamp. no document content) may be sent to our server to help us fix bugs. These logs contain no personally identifiable information and no document data.
Camera and Photo Picker
The App uses one Android runtime permission (Camera) and the system Photo Picker for gallery selection. No background use.
- Camera (
android.permission.CAMERA). used only when you tap "Take a Photo" on the Dashboard to photograph a document for analysis. Images from the camera are sent to our analysis servers over HTTPS, processed in memory, and immediately discarded. We do not record video, capture audio, access the camera in the background, or use the camera for any purpose other than document capture you explicitly initiated. - System Photo Picker (no permission required). when you tap "Choose from Gallery," Android shows you its built-in photo picker. You select one image. We only receive the image you explicitly tapped. We do not request and do not have permission to scan, index, or access any other photos on your device.
You can revoke camera permission at any time from Android Settings → Apps → Overquoted → Permissions. Revoking camera disables the "Take a Photo" capture path; the "Choose from Gallery" path continues to work because it does not require a permission. Everything else in the App continues to work.
