1. Overview

Technium Foundry LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Overquoted mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

You can sign in with Google or with an email address and password. Both use Firebase Authentication (a Google service). We receive your email address and a Firebase user ID. If you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication also receives the name and Google account ID on your Google profile. This is used to authenticate your account and manage your subscription.

Payment Information

Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, which handles your payment details. We receive the purchase and subscription status Google Play reports so we can unlock the full report. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or billing address.

Documents You Upload

To produce your report, the document photos you submit are sent to our server and then to a third-party document-processing provider that processes them on our behalf. Your documents are not used for advertising. On our servers, the image is:

We do not retain copies of your documents. The structured text analysis (verdict, line items, findings) is stored only on your device in local storage.

Usage Analytics

The App sends usage events to our own server: screens you view, scan outcomes (for example, whether a scan completed or failed), and steps in the subscription purchase flow. These events are tied to your account and to a random device identifier the App creates on first launch and keeps on your device. That identifier is not your advertising ID or a hardware ID, and it stays the same until you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not use a third-party analytics service, and we do not use this data for advertising.

Diagnostic Logs

When the App hits a warning or an error, it sends a diagnostic log to our server (error details, where in the App it happened, and a timestamp) so we can fix bugs. Each log records the IP address it was sent from and can include identifiers such as your account ID or device identifier, so we do not treat these logs as anonymous.

Camera and Photo Picker

The App uses one Android runtime permission (Camera) and the system Photo Picker for gallery selection. No background use.

You can revoke camera permission at any time from Android Settings → Apps → Overquoted → Permissions. Revoking camera disables the "Take a Photo" capture path; the "Choose from Gallery" path continues to work because it does not require a permission. Everything else in the App continues to work.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
